Jammu welcomed the BestSound Center 3.0 on October 16, 2026, a new initiative by WS Audiology and Hearing Help Pvt Ltd aimed at improving access to essential hearing care services. Located strategically in Gandhi Nagar, this innovative center promises to transform auditory healthcare, particularly for underprivileged individuals in Jammu and Kashmir.
WS Audiology, recognized globally as a pioneer in auditory solutions, has partnered with Suryoday Foundation for this remarkable project. As part of the launch, the organizations generously donated 150 hearing aids to 75 residents who are grappling with auditory impairments.
The BestSound Center embodies a consumer-focused evolution in hearing care, deviating from traditional, clinical settings. It emphasizes a personal touch, allowing visitors to explore service offerings that cater to individual hearing needs.

Located at 17-A/D, Near District Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar, the BestSound Center 3.0 design aligns with global standards in hearing care. It builds upon previous successes, such as the Best Sound Center opened in Bangalore earlier this year. With approximately 63 million individuals in India experiencing significant hearing impairment, as reported by the World Health Organization, the need for accessible care has never been more pressing.
“Our mission is to ensure access to hearing care, irrespective of geographical barriers or personal finances,” stated Mr. Avinash Pawar, Managing Director and CEO of WSA India, during the launch. “With this center, Jammu & Kashmir residents can experience the same quality of care and technology available globally. We aim to help these individuals reconnect with their lives.”
The design of the center incorporates an open and interactive space featuring areas dedicated to diagnostics, counseling, product testing, and aftercare services. Visitors can freely explore available hearing solutions, creating a welcoming atmosphere that alleviates the pressures often associated with formal clinical appointments.
The facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including digital fitting suites and immersive sound zones. These innovations allow clients to experience how different hearing devices function in real-life situations. Experienced hearing care professionals guide customers through the entire process, from assessment to ongoing support.

A key advantage of the BestSound Center is the dual access to WSA’s premier hearing aid brands, Signia and Widex. Research indicates that preferences for sound quality can vary widely among individuals. Signia’s technology excels in noisy environments, while Widex offers natural sound experiences. This range allows the center to cater to varied audiological needs for optimized care right from the first device fitting.
“Since our inception in 2019, we have witnessed many in Jammu & Kashmir traveling long distances for essential auditory care,” remarked Mr. John Zargar, Managing Director and CEO of Hearing Help Pvt Ltd. “This center equips us with the means to provide top-tier audiological expertise and technology, redefining the community’s experience with hearing care.”
In collaboration with Suryoday Foundation, 75 underprivileged individuals were carefully selected to receive hearing aids. The foundation has a track record of supporting marginalized communities since its establishment in 2016.
Hearing loss often leads to isolation and missed opportunities in both personal and professional spheres. By addressing these barriers, the BestSound Center hopes to facilitate a renewed sense of confidence and community engagement among its beneficiaries.
“We believe that hearing care should be a universal right, accessible to all, not just the privileged,” added Mr. Pawar. “We are excited to start our journey by connecting 75 individuals to their loved ones and community through our services.”
Mr. Zargar echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the commitment of Hearing Help to continuous care and community outreach, including hearing health awareness campaigns and screening camps throughout the region.
The launch of the BestSound Center 3.0 signifies a new era in hearing care, aiming to empower individuals across Jammu & Kashmir to take proactive steps toward improved auditory health. This initiative seeks to show that timely assessment and appropriate hearing solutions can lead to profound life changes.
